Rounded Roofing Shingle is easy to spread and handle during installation and inspection. In roof build‑ups, it is commonly used as system ballast and to form free‑draining borders that protect outlets and membranes. For green roof systems, 20/40 mm rounded stone is widely specified to create fire breaks and perimeter margins.

Its smooth texture and neutral colouring make it visually discreet while still providing effective drainage performance. Typical coverage is approximately 12.4 m² per tonne at a 50 mm depth.
