Produced from high-quality flint, 4/10 mm Shingle meets BS EN 13242 and BS EN 12620 standards delivering consistent grading and excellent free‑draining properties. Commonly used for pipe bedding, drainage trenches, and surface dressing, it allows water to pass freely while providing reliable support where compaction is not required.
The rounded to sub‑angular particle shape prevents interlock, making it unsuitable for structural sub‑bases, but ideal where permeability is the priority. Its uniform size ensures predictable performance across a wide range of drainage and service installations.
