6I Recycled consists of a blend of recycled materials, graded to include particles from 0/125 mm. This aggregate is designed to provide a stable, free-draining fill with a high angle of internal friction, meeting the requirements for use in embankments, reinforced soil, and as backfill to concrete structures.
Recycled construction materials are suitable for use as 6I, offering the necessary frictional properties and supporting the integrity of reinforced and anchored earthworks.
When 6I is used in proximity to metal anchors or reinforcement, chemical testing may be required to ensure the material does not contribute to corrosion. Produced to SHW Series 600 Class 6I / CC 601 and BS EN 13242 standards, 6I Recycled provides contractors with a compliant, sustainable, and dependable solution for demanding groundwork and infrastructure applications.
