1A Recycled consists of a blend of recycled aggregates, typically graded from 0/125 mm. This material is often sourced from lower quality construction and demolition waste, including brick and concrete. The high fines content allows for effective compaction, making it suitable for use as general fill, for raising site levels, and under motorway verges.
While not intended for use as a structural sub-base or finished surface, 1A Recycled provides a cost-effective and sustainable solution for bulk fill applications. Produced to SHW 600 Series / CC 601 and BS EN 13424 standards, it’s a compliant and reliable option for a wide range of groundwork and site preparation tasks.
