Product Details
6N Primary consists of a well-graded mixture of particles ranging from 0/80 mm, typically created from a blend of Type 1 aggregate and scalpings. This composition provides a stable, free-draining fill with a high angle of internal friction, ensuring long-term performance in embankments and as backfill to concrete structures.
The aggregate’s grading and mineral composition support the structural integrity of retaining walls, bridge abutments, and other critical infrastructure.
Also known as granular fill material, 6N Primary is produced to SHW Series 600 Class 6N / CC 601 and BS EN 13242 standards. You can rely on this aggregate for consistent quality, compliance, and dependable results in demanding groundwork and infrastructure projects.
