Reject Shingle consists of oversized, angular or sub-angular flint particles, created when larger stones are crushed and smaller sizes are screened out during quarry processing.

This aggregate is valued for its ability to form voids, allowing water to pass through freely, making it ideal for use in drainage trenches, soakaways, French drains, and behind retaining walls. Its lack of fines ensures that water is not trapped, supporting effective drainage and reducing the risk of waterlogging.

While not suitable for applications requiring compaction or a stable, interlocking surface, Reject Shingle excels wherever rapid water movement and void formation are essential. Contractors can rely on its consistent performance for drainage and oversite works, knowing it is produced to meet the practical demands of the industry.
