Product Details
Type 1 Recycled consists of an evenly graded mixture of recycled aggregate, ranging from 0/32 mm. Its composition ensures that, when compacted, the material interlocks effectively to minimise voids and provide a stable, non-permeable sub-base. This makes it ideal for use beneath asphalt, concrete, shingle, or block paving, as well as for backfilling and general groundwork.
While recycled aggregates may contain small traces of contaminants, these are controlled within permitted limits to ensure consistent performance. For best results, the material should be conditioned with water during compaction.
Type 1 Recycled is produced to meet BS EN 13285 and SHW 803 / CC 201 standards, so you can have confidence in its quality and compliance.
