Mineral Products Association Health and Safety Awards

This year, Day Group entered the prestigious Mineral Products Association’s Health and Safety Awards. This annual event focuses on championing priorities within the workplace, while celebrating innovations and sharing.

The awards received more than 140 entries from 37 different companies who were eager to win in one of eight different categories.

Unfortunately, Day Group did not walk away with an award this year. However, we were recognised with a “Certificate of Merit” for our hatch design on our feed hoppers. This was the result of a collaboration between our Plant Department, Engineering Department and Bagging Operation. We were delighted with this achievement in these fiercely fought competitions.
