Key responsibilities:
- The completion of daily vehicle checks and correct defect reporting, to ensure we always remain legal and compliant
- Good understanding and knowledge of Tachograph rules and regulations
- Ensuring safe and timely deliveries to our customers
- Be a good ambassador for the Company both on the road and on site
- Bulk tipping and aggregates deliveries
Person specification and required skills:
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Hold C Licence
- Tipping experience is preferrable, but not essential
- Reliable, able to prioritise workload
- Have methodical approach
- A professional, positive and flexible attitude at all times
- This role requires the use of a tablet to complete daily walk round submissions and other associated software to complete deliveries.
Working times/hours: 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday between the hours of 0600-1800 and 0700-1200 on alternate Saturdays.
Package is: annual salary plus the 9% employer pension contribution with Scottish Widows. You may be entitled to the discretionary Annual and Christmas bonuses. Annual leave of 29 days per year, including 8 Bank Holidays. You will also be entitled to 4 Saturday holidays per year.
