About Day Group

Our Brentford facility recycles Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) and turns it into Ecoblend®, a sustainable aggregate used in construction, helping reduce landfill and protect natural resources.
What You’ll Do
- Sort metal and other materials from a moving conveyor
- Clean plant areas using tools and equipment
- Assist with maintenance and repairs
- Keep the site safe and tidy
Essential Mechanical/Fitting Requirements
All applicants must be able to carry out basic to intermediate fitting duties, including:
- Changing bearings and rollers
- Adjusting and replacing scraper blades
- Changing skirt rubbers
- Tracing conveyor belts
- Working confidently on ECS/conveyors and associated equipment
- Ideally bringing experience from a quarry, recycling, or mineral processing environment
Hours
- 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Early Shift: 6:00 am – 5:00 pm (including 1 hour unpaid lunch)
- Late Shift: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm (including 1 hour unpaid lunch)
- We currently have 3 x Early Shift positions and 2 x Late Shift positions available
