Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) is a dense, cement‑bound pavement material designed for applications requiring exceptional strength, durability, and speed of construction. Produced with carefully graded aggregates, cement, and controlled water content, RCC is delivered dry enough to be placed using conventional asphalt paving equipment and compacted with rollers, removing the need for formwork, reinforcement, or dowels. 

RCC provides a cost‑effective alternative to traditional Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) and flexible pavement construction, offering excellent load‑bearing capacity and long‑term performance under high traffic and heavy plant movements. Its rapid installation and early trafficking capabilities make RCC particularly well suited to programmes where time, access, and operational continuity are critical. 

Commonly used for service yards, haul roads, hardstanding, ports, industrial pavements, and access roads, RCC can be manufactured using primary, secondary, or recycled aggregates, supporting sustainable construction and value‑engineered solutions.
